Museum Passes
In order to provide patrons access to a wider world, the Friends of the Rochester Public Library make available to card holders free or low-cost passes to the following museums.

Checking out Museum Passes:

      • Patrons may reserve for a particular day in the calendar.
      • Patrons may reserve passes once a month: one reservation for each museum.
      • Patrons may not check out passes if they owe more than five dollars in fines.
Available at the Main Desk:


Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Each pass admits up to two people, for general admission, for $10 per person.
Children 6 and under are admitted free.
Children 7 to 17 are admitted for $6.50 on school days until 3 p.m.
All other times, children 7 to 17 are admitted free.

Tickets for special exhibitions may be purchased for an additional $8.
These tickets cannot be reserved in advance and are subject to availability.

Seacoast Science Center

Each pass allows two adults and their children or grandchildren (under age 18) from the same household, plus two additional guests, half price admission to the Seacoast Science Center.  Be sure to present your pass to the Odiorne Point State Park tollbooth attendant and the Center greeter for potential free entry into the Odiorne Point parking area (there is generally a parking fee May-October). Membership privileges include a 10% discount in the Nature Store.

Wright Museum

Each pass admits 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 18.

Currier Museum of Art

Each pass provides free general admission for up to 2 adults (18 years and over) and all youth family members (ages 13-17); children 12 years and under are always admitted without charge.

New Hampshire Historical Society

Each pass provides free daily admission to any exhibition at the Historical Society for up to four adults and any accompanying children (ages 18 and under) during public open hours.

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire

Reduced admission of 50% off up to four people. Additional guests pay the regular admission of $10. All children under the age of one are admitted free of charge. Some special programs may require an additional fee.

New Hampshire Farm Museum

The pass entitles the bearer (and their immediate family) for free. Additional guests pay the regular admission fees of $7 for adults, and $4 for children 4-17 years old.  Children under 4 are admitted free of charge. Seniors/Students are $6.
