The Rochester Library will host a July art exhibit
entitled Kindred Spirits - The Collaboration Continues, by Lisa Toole
and Ross Bachelder, for the month of July during normal business hours
Monday through Thursday 9- 8:30pm, and Friday 9-5pm. The exhibit will
be a diverse collection of works using a variety of media.
Toole and Bacheider began their art collaboration four years ago and have been featured in numerous seacoast venues prior to the Rochester Public Library. They will donate 10% of art sales to Americares, (www.americares.com) an international relief organization that works in over 125 countries worldwide. The organization provides long term humanitarian aid to victims ravaged by war and natural disasters. "Part of our collaboration involves creating something with lasting impact beyond the purchase of a piece of art, explained the artists. Wanting to make an impact on others through art and finding an organization that could actually translate that into functional aid reaching people most,in need, isn't as simple as we thought. Amedcares is one of the most successful relief organizations delivering direct aid inside some of the most dangerous places on the planet. Too often those in greatest need suffer unabatedly due to civil war, poor infrastructure and other complications. This organization has found ways to overcome those obstacles." ![]() ![]()

place. Making art is largely an intuitive experience for met Toole is
