Paintings by Susan Schwake and Pottery by Roger Galuska
The Rochester Public Library is pleased to display the art of Susan Schwake in a solo show entitled, “Love is All You Need”.  Susan is a renowned artist and co-owner of artstream studio in downtown Rochester.  She works in many forms, including painting, sculpture, drawing and printmaking.   Susan’s pieces currently on display at the Library are colorful paintings full of life.  She says she enjoys working on a variety of surfaces and has several in her current show.  Her inspiration comes from fleeting moments, memories and thoughts.  Please visit during the months of February and March to see her beautiful work.  It is not to be missed.

These images do not do these works justice!
Please visit us to see them in person!!

Also at the Library is an exhibit of pottery by well-known local potter, Roger Galuska.  Roger is the owner and creative force of Rock Garden Pottery, located in Rochester.  Roger specializes in hand thrown, hand painted pots using his own specialized glazes.  On display at the Library are works including mugs, goblets, dinnerware sets, berry bowls and lamps. Many of his original designs are inspired by the art and nature of his ancestral home in the Tatra Mountains of Southern Poland.  Roger says that he strives to combine grace with function.  Roger’s work will be on display on the first floor of the Rochester Public Library until the end of March..
