Do you have a question you'd like answered, but don't have the time to come in to the library? Our Reference Librarians are available to answer your questions online.  Please fill out this form in as much detail as possible.


Some things to make note of:
1-  If your question pertains to library hours, placing a hold, renewing your books or library programming, please call 603-332-1428.  If your question pertains to Children’s Services, please call 603-335-7549.

2-  We will usually be able to respond to your e-mail question within 48 hours or two business days.

3-  If you do not get a response to your question within three business days please resubmit the question as there may have been a technical error.

4-  We regret that we cannot answer complex questions via e-mail, but you may telephone us at 603-335-7550, or visit the Reference Desk in person.


Attention Genealogists:

The Rochester Public Library charges a $20.00 non-refundable fee for historical and genealogical research, including obituaries, provided to non-RPL card holders. Due to staffing issues this service is offered for one time use only. For more information click here.
