About Us

What is it?
The Teen Summer Reading Program is a free annual program that includes eligibility for prizes when you read.

Who can enter?
Any teen entering grades 6-12

When is it?
June 22-August 7, 2015

How do you join?
There is no pre-registration.  Come into the library and pick up a weekly reading log. You must spend at least two hours per week reading to be eligible for weekly drawings. Turn in at the desk by Friday.

What can you read?
Just about anything – magazines, books, newspapers, or comics. Read to yourself or out loud to someone!

Hand in weekly quizzes and trivia to win candy. These will also enter you into a drawing on July 20 to win 4 box seats to a July 30 Fisher Cats game with a first pitch opportunity!

At the end of the program, there will be drawings for great prizes:

Boston Red Sox merchandise, Portland Sea Dogs tickets, passes to Barnz’s Cinema, Canobie Lake Park, York’s Wild Kingdom and more!

The more weeks you participate, the greater your chances of winning!
