Craft Program: Color Changing Chameleon: 10:00 to 12:00, ages 2 and up.
Children can drop-in to make a fun, color changing chameleon craft! Older children may attend independently, but younger children should be accompanied by an adult. Children may leave when their projects are completed so parents or caregivers must stay on the Children’s Room level while children attend the program.

Magician Norman Ng: 10:00 am, all ages.
Join us for a show full of mind blowing magic, hilarious comedy and tons of audience participation! The Children’s Room will close for business 15 minutes before the program begins, and will reopen shortly after the program ends.

Stories Under the Stars: 7:00 pm, ages 3-7.
This evening Story Program will be held in the Children’s Room next to the Jungle Nook. We will read some stories, sing some songs, and maybe even hand out a treat to take home! We will be turning out most of the lights in the Children’s Room during the program, so library services will be limited until the program is over.

Help determine the outcome of the “You Choose” book Can You Survive the Jungle. See how many different paths and endings you can find in with this interactive book.

The Science of Magic: 10:00-10:30 in the Community Room, ages 5 and up.
How do magic tricks really work? This program investigates the science behind the “magic” of classic magic tricks like snatching a tablecloth out from under items without disturbing them! Presented by the Boston Museum of Science. This program is only 30 minutes: latecomers will not be admitted once the program has begun.

Jungle Adventure:
This is an interactive puzzle solving program for kids entering grades 3-5 inspired by the Escape Room experience! There will be two sessions each accommodating up to 10 children. Registration will open on Monday, July 15. Parents or caregivers must stay on the Children’s Room level while children attend the program.

Read on the Wild Side Party: 2:00-3:00 pm in the Community Room.
All “summer readers” are invited to the end of Summer Reading Program Party. Join us for cake and ice-cream from. Prizes will be available at the party.
The Children’s Room will be open during the party, but will close for the day at 3:00 pm.
