December 2015 - Stephanie Piro Cartoons

The Rochester Public Library is pleased to host an exhibit of artwork by award winning cartoonist and local artist, Stephanie Piro.

Stephanie Piro is the Saturday chick of King Features’ team of women cartoonists known as the “Six Chix”, now in its 15th year of syndication. A selection of her current work, including cartoons and illustrations is on display at the Rochester Public Library through the end of December. Her distinctive style and humor is familiar to many as it can be found across the country in framed prints, magazines, newspapers, t-shirts and online.

Over the years her work has been published and licensed for a variety of products, for such companies as American Greetings, Papyrus, and Chicken soup books. Additionally, she and her creative partner, Kelly Kamowski, create cartoon series called Compassionate Cartoons for use by presenters, bloggers and authors on a range of sensitive subject matter. In her spare time she designs gifts items for her company, Strip T’s, her Etsy shop and her Cafepress Shop.

You can visit her website at www.stephaniepiro.com.
