October 2017 - Paul Glenn

The Rochester Public Library is pleased to host an exhibit of artwork by local artist, Paul H. Glenn, during October on the first floor of the Library.

Glenn brings a selection of paintings to the Library as well as other works on paper. Several nature-inspired scenes with bold colors capture the imagination, while smaller studies of landscapes and local scenery remind us of familiar places.

Glenn developed his drawing and painting techniques while attending classes at the Carnegie Mellon Museum of Art, the Thomas Palmerton Studio in Brownville, Nebraska and other locations throughout the U.S. His art has been shown in such venues as the Portland sidewalk Art Festival and the York Art Association Gallery in York Harbor, Maine.

The Rochester Public Library is located at 65 South Main Street. Call 332-1428 for more information.
