March 2022 - Maura Sullivan

The Rochester Public Library is pleased to present the artwork of Maura Sullivan during the month of March.

Sullivan was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2) in her thirties and is deaf and sight impaired, as a result of treatment. She paints with acrylics and finds the process of creating art to be therapeutic and enjoyable.

Sullivan paints commissions to support various charities near and dear to her heart. Her work is can be found in the display case on the main level of the library.
