The Rochester Public Library is pleased to present the artwork of James Belcher during the month of September.

James writes: Creating works of art began for me in childhood where I sold my first painting to my elementary school principal at age 12. My goal is plain painting ever since: to reveal God 's natural beauty in representational landscape paintings. The result is to create in these oil paintings an enduring quality that gives lasting enrichment, joy, and inspiration to the viewer.

My education in art includes a B.S. at Suffolk University, Boston and EdM. Harvard University, Cambridge.
