October 2024 - Cori Caputo

The Rochester Public Library is pleased to present the artwork of Cori Caputo throughout the month of October.

Cori writes: "Cori Caputo loves to create narrative pictures that transports the viewer into a happy place.

The spontaneous quality of watercolor allows her to infuse her paintings with glowing colors and the energy she senses in her subjects.

She is fond of painting old houses with their pointy roofs and leaning walls.

From mysterious landscapes to magical environments with cognizant creatures there is something for everyone within her portfolio."

Cori is currently selling her greeting cards at Just Us Chickens in Kittery Maine and Eldridge Lumber in York Maine.

You can find updates about her work on Facebook www.facebook.com/coricaputostudio/

Her work has been published in calendars, and as puzzles. Cori has won awards and has been featured in galleries from Maine to Virginia.
